What is Ovispace?
Ovispace is a mobile app that lets users make voice calls to anybody throughout the world, regardless of whether or not the receiver is using the app. It also enables users to send instant messages and share videos, photos, virtual stickers, virtual gifts and other files, free of charge. The primary aim of Ovispace is to help people to always stay connected with those that matter to them.
Is Ovispace free to use?
Yes, Ovispace is a free service that enables you to interact with other users, without worrying about payment. There are hundreds of free stickers and gifts at your disposal, and phone calls are totally free between users. However, we offer some premium services, whereby one can optionally buy some reserved, virtual stickers or gifts. Making an Ovispace call to a non-user costs a stipend, compared to the cost of mobile networks.
How do I create an Ovispace account?
After installing the app on your Android device, click on the Ovispace icon on the phone's homescreen to launch the app. On the account registration screen, enter your name, email address, country and phone number, without country code. Check the box: "I agree to Ovispace Terms of Service and Privacy Policy". Click on the "Continue" button.

On the next screen, you'll be prompted to allow Ovispace to sync your phone's contact list with its servers. Click on the "Sync Contacts" button, to complete your registration.

How much does it cost to make a local call to a non-user?
Making local voice calls via Ovispace is based on a monthly subscription, which the user can cancel at any time.
How much does an international voice call to a non-user cost?
VoIP charges vary from country-to-country, depending on the country you are calling. International calls to non-members are billed on a per-minute-basis. There are different calling rates for various countries. The best way to know the calling rate of the country you intend to call is to use the built-in search function in Ovispace. The following are the steps to check voice calling rates:
  1. On the "More" screen, tap on the "Premium Credit" link.

  3. On the next screen, which is "Premium Credi", tap on the "Calling Rates" link.

  5. On the "Calling Rates" screen, select the country where the person is located in from the select field and finally click on "Check Rates" button.

Can I use the same Ovispace account on multiple devices?
Yes, you can the same account on unlimited number of devices. We believe that users deserves the right to use multiple devices to access a single Ovispace account.
Which networks does Ovispace support?
Ovispace supports 3G, 4G-LTE and Wi-Fi. It also has support for 2G, only when the network is excellent. So, we only recommend 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi.
What should I do if I encounter an issue when using Ovispace?
If you experience any issue, while using Ovispace, please, try the steps below. If you need any assistance with them, please contact your mobile phone manufacturer.

Note:
Sometimes, you may be prompted to log in to your account again after updating your device's OS or Ovispace. Please register your email address to ensure that you can carry over your account successfully, if the need be.
  • Ensure your device's OS is up to date. if not, update it.
  • Update the Ovispace app.
  • Restart Ovispace.
  • Restart your device.
  • Delete your device's cache.
I entered an invalid email address during registration. What should I do?
There's no cause for alarm! Please, take the following steps to modify your email address:
  1. Tap on the "More" menu, located at the top navigation bar.

  3. On the "More" screen, tap on the right arrow next to your phone number.

  5. On the next screen, labelled "Edit Profile", you'll see the email address you entered during registration. Change it to your valid email address and click on the "Save" button located at the bottom of the screen.

How do I change my passcode?
  1. To change your passcode, tap on the "More" menu and that will take you to the "More" screen.

  3. Tap the "Settings" link, to navigate to the "Settings" screen.
  4. Then, tap on the "Change Passcode" link, to open a pop-up screen.
  5. The pop-up screen contains your passcode in an editable form.
  6. Now change your passcode to any other 6-digit number you like.
What should I do if I forget my passcode?
If you have forgotten your passcode, please follow the steps below to view and optionally reset it.
  1. On the login screen, click on the "Forgot Passcode" link.

  3. On the "Forgot Passcode" screen, enter the email address you used, while registering on Ovispace.

  5. A passcode reset email will be sent to your registered email address.
  6. Follow the instructions in the email to modify your passcode.
What should I do if I forget my passcode and can't access my email account?
How do I protect my account from unauthorized access?
There are numerous cases of unauthorized access to internet services connected to email addresses and passwords that leaked from other services. It is interesting to note that no information registered to Ovispace, including phone numbers, email addresses, or passcodes, has ever been leaked.

We strongly recommend not using the same Ovispace pas code on any other service. Make sure your passcode is private and do not share it. We encourage users to frequently change their passcodes. The following steps guides you on how to do just that:
  1. Go to the "More" screen.
  2. Tap on the "Settings" link.

  4. On the "Settings" screen, tap on "Change Passcode", to open the "Change Passcode" pop-up screen.
  5. Enter your current passcode.
  6. Enter your new passcode (6-digit number) twice and click on the "OK" button.
How do I prevent other users from sending ephemeral messages to me?
That's very easy to do!
  1. Navigate to the "More" screen and then to "Settings", followed by the "Privacy Settings" screen.
  2. On the "Privacy Settings" screen, tap on the "Ephemeral Settings" link.
  3. The "Ephemeral Settings" pop-up screen will be displayed.
  4. Finally select the "No" radio button, to say goodbye to vanishing messages.
Note:
Ephemeral messages are those that disappear from the "Messages" screen and on our servers forever after a limited period of time. The default setting is "Yes", meaning you agree to receive such slf-destruct messages. You can enable or disable it at any time of your choosing. It's totally up to you!
Is it possible to delete my Ovispace account?
Yes, but we would love to have you keep using Ovispace. However, if for any reason, you wish to delete your account, the following steps will guide you to achieve that:
  1. Navigate to the "More" screen and tap on the "Settings" link.

  3. On the "Settings" screen, click on the "Delete" button, and a pop-up screen will appear.
  4. Click on the "OK" button, to permanently delete your account.
How many hours does Ovispace store ephemeral content on its servers before permanent deletion?
Regardless of the number of seconds or minutes the sender sets the timer for an ephemeral message, each self-destruct content is stored on our servers for 24 hours, before permanent deletion takes place.
Which encryption protocol does Ovispace use?
Ovispace implements TSL encryption, which is standards-compliant and has been vigorously tested.
Does Ovispace implement end-to-end encryption of data?
Yes, it implements end-to-end encryption of data. This ensures that your communication is always secure and there will not be any threat of man-in-the-middle attack.
What's the file limit for a photo sent via private message and the Timeline?

Presently, we set the maximum number of participants in an Ovispace Group to 256.
Which technologies does Ovispace use to store data on user's phone?

Do you delete inactive accounts?
The company may delete any user account that has been inactive for a period of a year or more since its last activation, without any prior notice to the user.
